SABC Port Elizabeth staff embark on 67 Minutes

On 18 July 2017 SABC Port Elizabeth  staff members took to the Boardwalk to pack 80 000 meals. The Boardwalk was filled with many other companies who also participated in the 67 Minutes initiative. The goal was to have each team fill 15 boxes with meal packs that would be distributed to feed hungry children across South Africa. 

The packing started promptly at 09:00 as the teams enthusiastically ran the packs across the assembly line. The spirit and atmosphere of all involved was evident as the teams chanted and sang. This was all done in remembrance of Tat’ Mandela and all that he stood for, 67 minutes would never be enough but every little bit helps and when we all do our part it collectively counts for a lot.
