What show do you host?

            Ezemidlalo (Sat and Sun 15H00 – 18H00)

When and how did your career start?

1996 – 2007 I started working for community radio platforms (Campus Bay fm now known as Bay fm, now defunct Ubuntu fm and Nkqubela fm) performing duties as sports anchor and including programming which is an important planning stage in broadcasting. These twelve years have fine tuned my skills in dealing with community based sports affairs such as developmental sport, and this environment helped prepare me for the public broadcast market, where also grassroots sports are elevated to issues of national importance. My passion and love for grassroots sport was nurtured during these years. 2007 I then started at Umhlobo Wenene fm as a sports anchor on weekends (15:00-18:00 Sat and Sun).

What have you achieved thus far within your career? What are your career highlights?

At the beginning of November 2012 I was invited by the Parliamentary Sports Chairman DR.  Luyenge in parliament to attend the launch of Inter-Provincial Games in Cape Town. A week later I was also invited by the Sports Minister Fikle Mbalula to attend the launch of  Little Green Book of which I'm part of ( This is where you will find 100 most influential people in sport in South Africa).

2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 I was awarded an award as a best sports presenter by uplifting the community of the Eastern Cape Province through sports by the Eastern Cape Premier.

2011: I was awarded an award by Boxing SA for my contribution in boxing.
