Who are you?

My Name is Loyiso Sitsheke a peace loving person who loves travelling  the world,  I was born in Qumbu village in the Eastern Cape now based in Johannesburg ,Wilgeheuwel .West of Johannesburg.I come from a family of five  who most of them live in the Westen Cape , Khayamandi Township, Stellenbosch.

What show do you host?

I work at the SABC Mhlobo Wenene FM as a sports presenter(doing 5 minute long bulletins at 3h15 and 5h15pm, also presenting a One Hour sport –show Monday to Thursday  and also working as a producer with Isixhosa News Desk One Oclock and evening bulletins on weekends. Out of all this I expect listeners to be entertained and informed

When and how did your career start?

It started off with Unitra Community Radio aka-UCR-FM in 1996, I guess I did well in the auditions.I was once a library assistant at then University of Transkei now WSU, but before that I was working at the Campus Control Division. The late Chris McCregor Dunga and Vido Makhaza (still Alive) where the people that inspired me a great deal with their sense of humour and creativity.

What have you achieved thus far within your career? What are your career highlights?

Getting to interview sports personalities , the likes of Dr Danny Jordaan, Jomo Sono, Dr Irvin Khoza, Itumeleng Khune, Cheeky Watson, and many more. I am listed as one   of the most influential in  sport in a book compiled by the Department of Sport in South Africa.

Besides radio, what do you do?

I am a voice over artist and also a bulletin writer for sabc 1 News. All the projects are still in the pipeline at this stage, and I am excited about them way before they start. I love my country and I believe in its people.
