Who are you?  ……..

A South African, TV & Radio host, Brand Ambassador, Voice-Over artist & Speaker. In his growing record, Nzawumbi is an award winning public speaker and journalist. Dubbed „The Stage Prince‟ by former President Thabo Mbeki, he lives a visible legacy of „Humble Beginnings”‟. He has been ranked among the top speakers in his home province –Eastern Cape and throughout his country- South Africa.

When and how did your career start?

He landed his first job in radio while still doing his first year of studies towards his degree in Media Studies/ Journalism and began anchoring local news in a Campus Radio Station at just 17 years old. It is that opportunity that earned him multiple jobs as a voice over artist for local & international brands. Credited for his thought provoking opinions and challenging dialogues, after completing his post-grad studies in Journalism he relocated to Cape Town to kick-start his career as a Parliamentary Media Officer but later resigned and relocated to Johannesburg to join the media fraternity. It is in his duration in Cape Town, that he made outstanding networks which developed him relationships from the UN to American Consulate ambassadors.

What have you achieved thus far within your career? What are your career highlights?

-He has worked with the Eastern Cape Education Department as a public speaking coach and adjudicator for a num-ber of school learners who later graced prominent stages due to his mentorship.
-In 2010 whilst working as an Editorial Assistant for iTWeb- an online telecommunications and business magazine, he worked his way in as Secretary of the Young Visionaries Board which he later led as Chairman in 2013.
-In 2012 he served as a Parliamentary Media Officer, a career position that sharpened his professional skills and changed his „see-to-it‟ in many things.
-In 2014 he began his Television career as co-host of South Africa‟s leading consumer rights TV show- Yilungelo Lakho- on SABC 1 and a News Anchor on radio.
-In 2015 Hosted Question Time and Rights & Recourse, leading Talk Shows broadcast on SABC News Channel 404.
-In 2016 Hosted Media Monitor and Sunday Live on SABC 1.
-Founder and President of the newly established Tiny-Toes Foundation
Awarded the National Productivity Institute Award as speaker of the year.
