How to submit music to UWFM

For your music to be considered for play listing, you have to be registered with SAMRO and RISA firstly. When submitting your music, you should provide composer, publisher details & ISRC code.

If you have a single or can submit electronically, you can use our music submission email – uwfmmusic@sabc.co.za

For a hard copy submission, you can either submit through the Joburg Auckland Park library or use door - door currier to our PE library:

The music Committee will then listen to your music to ascertain if it is good quality, that is recorded, mixed & mastered professionally and speaks to our music policy and music format.

We have thousands of songs in waiting and that means it will take some time before we can listen to yours, so extra patience is required. Submission follow ups are only done on Wednesday between 10 & 4 pm ONLY.  You can call 041 391 1331.

Interviews are only granted once the music has been playlisted.
