29th May 2015 Mhlobo Wenene FM officially launched it's new Digital Studio. This high end studio with state of the art equipment sets Mhlobo Wenene FM high as a competitor.
The Minister of Communications, COO of The SABC and many others were in attendence, it took place at the SABC parking lot Port Elizabeth, under a spectacular stretch tent, with performers from the group, Legato, being there to entertain the crowd. Speeches were made from namely: Mr Zola Yeye, Bishop B Nopece, Ms Sully Motsweni, Mr Hlaudi Motsoeneng, Ms Faith Muthambi, Ms Noxolo Kiviet and many others.
It started with all guests arriving from 12:00pm, signing in and being led into the legacy centre for lights snacks and drinks prepared by the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino , after, they were led into the tent where all speeches were held and cutting of the birthday cake, the cutting of the ribbon was done at the entrance of the New studio and the unveiling of the plague.
